Today is the United Nations' International Day of Peace, first celebrated in 1982. The original resolution read that "Peace Day should be devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples."
To celebrate Peace Day, A Peace of My Mind is releasing the podcast for the first interview of our national series, American Stories. You can expect many more to come.
If you follow the link below, you can hear Jim Anderson's story, and you will notice a few changes on the website. It's been redesigned to make things easier to read and easier to find.
The new interviews can now be found in two formats. You'll find the full 10-minute podcast for Jim, as we've had in the past. But if you are pressed for time, you will find a short 2-minute video as well.
To hear Jim's story, follow this link.
I hope that you will take a few minutes today to consider how we can create a more peaceful world. For A Peace of My Mind, it begins with taking the time to listen.
With peace and gratitude.
